Coiba, a terrenal paradise where a maximum security prison was located, which contained the most dangerous criminals. Used to torture and kill people who opposed the dictatorship regime that controlled Panama during the 80’s.
The Project
This was my first documentary feature film. I was 24 years old when I started working on it and presented in the only movie theatre that displayed alternative movies in Panama, over 600 show up that first day and became one of the first Panamanian Documentaries ever made.
